Why Merc - I had no idea you were so tiny!
I still can't find my damned camera. Really driving me crazy. Anyway. Laptop not great at showing colours - the only way I can even gat a facsimile is to sit under three spotlights, which is so unflattering to ma face! So here is me-not-me. And my misbehaving hair colour (see post whore thread) IF I find my errant camera I promise a proper face shot, pref in sunlight. |

When you said your hair had turned "blue," I thought it was that the black had started to fade a little more, but you were NOT kidding! Good luck with the next dye kit!

No, this was a new one.
Called Midnight Blue. Midnight? Maybe in the Artic Circle! Parts of my hair are indigo, others peacock blue, others nearer turquoise. Coverage is NOT even despite my very best attempts. And the different colours don't even match the original pattern of colouring. I have no idea how this one works. I'll apply more tomorrow and still have the option of simply stripping the colour back out. Honestly, I willvideo the shifting shades if I find this DAMN CAMERA! (really quite annoyed now - I know it's in the house) |

Oh! This is the new one! I thought this was what the old one had faded to. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
You know, while your hair is blue, you could probably find a bright, colorful dress secondhand and glam it up with a very fun photoshoot. ETA: Once you find your camera, of course. Last edited by Chocolatl; 07-29-2008 at 07:58 PM. |

Now it's the opposite end of the scale - bloody hell Merc, you're HUUUUGE!
How tall are you? 6'4"? Here's my hair in the light. The Artistic Director here loves it, very excited. She immediately identified as peacock, same as me. She also things the different colours make it better (not with her on that). Am still thinking I'll take it home to scare my parents with, then strip it out again after the weekend. It's just too much effort for an old bird like me. |

You suit wild and bold colours Sundae.
Ohhh, y'know a few years ago I went through phase of wanting really wild colours. I loved the metallic blues and paintbox reds. Trouble is I can only really use the hair colours that are quite mild, because the bold ones are a dead cert. allergic reaction. lol. Oh well. *smiles* Sundae, enjoy the boldness |

Sundae it's fantastic, don't get rid of it. Once you've done it, it's really easy to keep up. I redid mine in 2 minutes this morning, let it steep for half an our while I did a load of laundry, rinsed off, bright at ever.

I like it! I bet it looks really neat in the sunshine with all the different shades in it.
