Can the admin and moderators move threads from a Social Group to the Forums?

If so, could they move just the opening post of such a thread that way?

I'm asking because it would be nice if we could simply have an IOTD Social Group where dwellars could post either IOTD thread ready pictures with narratives; or, just links to pictures for any volunteers to make ready. Everyone would have to understand that these would not be discussion threads (no replies to the OP) so that Social Group threads could be easily moved to IOTD.

If; however, the Social Group OPs alone could be moved to IOTD, even though there are replies, then everyone could appraise the images posted.

Just a thought.

Moving between social groups and regular forums can't be done.

Occasionally, I want to find a specific pic (Attachment)
and I may have only a vague recollection of when it was posted,
who posted it, or which thread it was in. e.g., "Where is this ?

When I go into the "Pictures and Albums, I see only my own Username,
and not even all the pics that I have posted .

Is there a way to search or scan the entire database's gallery of pictures ?

Or, does anyone know of a way to find images based on a Range of Dates, or on a given poster's Username ?

I know about:
Advanced Search based on "text",
Advanced Search based on UserName + "text",

Search this Thread + Advanced Search based on UserName,
Search this Thread + Advanced Search based on UserName + text,

Any ideas ?

There isn't a good way I know of. I can search on things in the Admin control panel but that type of search didn't make it into the Advanced Search at all.

Just so I'm thinking right...

Name: Capture.JPG
Views: 423
Size: 17.2 KB

This means that 8,489 people right-clicked, then clicked 'Save image as...', and saved this pic to their hard drive?

No I think it's views; the system wouldn't know the difference between requests whether it was for download or for viewing.

This isn't such a good way, but you can do searches through google images of pictures in the Cellar.

That is obviously a collection assembled by some very sick minds.

You get others' pics in that sort of search as well. I noticed a few of my own in there.

That's interesting: the sig line appears on posts made after the change but not on posts made before the change

Never saw that happen before.
