15 out of 16, although some close calls.
I know the cadences of the Bible, but I don't know heavy metal at all.

(quite chuffed actually, even while admitting to guesswork!)

Well...Bible verses rarely rhyme, or have an easily recognizable rhythm.

If you count the letters in each, it goes 3-5-4 on the top, and 3-4-? on the bottom, which could leave either seven or eight as the missing five-letter number.

It's a bullshit rationalization, but it's one way of looking at it from outside the box, anyway.

5.

1/2, 3/4, 5/5. One-half, three-fourths, a whole.

NFC.

1+3+5 add up to 9, so this is a problem that asks "what three numbers add up to nine?"
2 +4 will only add up to 9 if you add 3, so the answer is 3.

Is it 3; because, 135 and 243 are divisible by 3 and powers of 3?

Is it 3; because, added all together the total is 18 which is the age of majority?

Is it 3; because, following the words "Think about it" there are two sets of three dots but it can't be six?

If it's not 3, then it must be 7; because, the beanbag landed on 6.

This is looking more and more like a trick question.

Trick question? No. But you own your assumptions.
I tried for a least five minutes to figure out the pattern, then gave up and scrolled to...
