agreed, clearly forward facing... in fact when i first saw it, i was just wondering why they had erased part of him... then i saw a flash of the profile... my ~~eye~~ brain wants to see it face on... I have to work to see him sideways..

I think it's because all of the eyes are in the exact same spot. that and the speed of the changes....it makes your brain lag behind and try to see the face as the same.... so when the face shape is slightly different, it appears to stretch and bulge or squish instead of being seen as a brand new image.

but that's just my guess
