But but but let me have my dream? Pretty please? I just want a log home in the country, with horses and woods and streams and a giant natural swimming pool and some cows and a housekeeper and a lamborghini and fountains and waterfalls and butterflies and music and laughter and a segway and a popcorn machine and a movie theater and silk clothing and cashmere sweaters and a personal trainer and a male harem and one of those big stainless steel refrigerators and those really giant front load washer and dryer sets and tickets to all the great shows and an ATV...

Oh wait. I don't want much. Really.

yeah you can have your dream and you can put aside 5% of your paycheck every week. Unless your dream is to not put aside 5% of your paycheck every week, in which case you'd really have to choose one or the other cause you couldn't do both

Now it's all, like, complicated. I'm a simple woman, with simple needs...except for all the aforementioned stuff I want.

But in all seriousness. Once I am finally over this financial hump from paying for my teeth, I do need to set aside 5%.

I'm a silly dreamer.

The interest, even compounded, on that nickel, looks pretty weak compared to the interest on that mortgage and credit cards. That's the trap, 'Ill start saving after I'm out of debt', which of course never happens.

Are you saying that if we fill the mug you're going to blow it all on the lottery and let the Cellar close down?!

The odds against winning $1 million in the Lottery: Astronomical. How about doing it twice?

It happened to a man from Bonne Terre, Mo., Missouri Lottery officials said Tuesday. Ernest Pullen, 57, won $1 million with a “100 Million Dollar Blockbuster” Scratchers ticket in June. And this month, he won $2 million with a “Mega MONOPOLY” Scratchers ticket.

Pullen, a retired military man who was working at the help desk for a telecommunications company before retiring after the first lottery win, said he considers himself to be a “lucky guy.”
I consider him accurate.
