Merry Christmas
My mum and I tried an eat-out Christmas a couple of times. One was a big pub, with two sittings, and ended up seeming very like school dinners: the second was in a chichi little restaurant where the service was so slow there was about an hour between the courses. . Sounds like you had a cross between the two, Sundae!

Meanwhile, on a Scottish hilltop: goose from one local farm, sprouts and red cabbage from a second local farm, potatoes from a third local farm, stuffing balls from the local butcher, carrots from the local "supermarket". Yum it was!

All done and dusted here. Boxing day. Normally you relax and put your feet up, but I will be doing cakes.

Merry Christmas all! Just had a little wine and cheese, and my wife's in the kitchen now with her mom making dinner. Crab imperial. Yum.
I mad fish chowder last night, and also made a breakfast this morning of scrambled eggs and scrapple to go with the cut up citrus cocktail and coffee cake my MIL made. Nice relaxing day today, playing with toys. I got a drone with onboard camera! And a fitbit. And misc clothes and stuff. |

Cracks me up, how Ripley's all, "Yeah, I'm just kind of a cool badass" even when she's being bumped around on her brother's back.

I think I need to stop flying it in the yard.
It took 10 minutes throwing a Nerf football to get it back this time. The trees are like magnets. But I have less interest filming the school softball field. It's really fun, but the camera is a low-res pinhole variety. |

You should get one. You know, for when the kids are over.
