Young ===== Birth to 25.46 years
Middle Age = 25.46 to 50.94 years.
Old ======= 50.94 to 76.4 years

Questions?
Should we include childhood in this? Or are we looking at three ages of adulthood?

In which case young would be 18-37
middle-aged would be 38-57
old-aged would be 58-77

...or thereabouts.....

I can tell you that officially, from some psych/sociology textbook I had to read, "middle age" is defined as 45-65, and 65+ is "elderly". I remembered it because I thought that range seemed much higher than what I'd always thought middle age was, which was more like 30-50. They claimed 25-45 was "young adult" and 16ish-25 was "emerging adult" or some bullshit.

The whole thing was based on what people that age are supposedly focused on, like "in the elderly stage of life, individuals become concerned with their legacy, and resting to admire the fruits of their accomplishments."

Oh yes. And I shall have been being old before I die. If I'm lucky.

This guy defies age. 44 and still playing in the NHL, that is some powerful denial.

I was chatting up the new waitress.

Then I found out how young she is.

And, suddenly, I was old.

When the person who seems like a well established adult was born after you graduated from high school, that tends to make you feel old.

The situation exact.

She's 23.

I graduated in 1986.

She was quite friendly, though.

Coulda been looking for a tip, but, she wasn't working the bar.

I had her guessed at 30-ish. I didn't tell her that.
