Pretty good guesses. This tattoo was for my last deployment. I have a dragon with crossed canons on my other shoulder for my first OIF deployment.
KFOR-9~Kosovo Forces 9th (rotation) The shield with the stars and the outline of Kosovo is their national emblem. I was in TF Griffin, 35th ID, Multi National Task Force East On the inside of my right forearm, I have my blood type and allergies

Me, yesterday on our walk.
We lost internet connection last night due to some pretty fierce storms (yay!) so it's as RFN as I could manage. I'll post the scenery pics later in the Aylesbury thread. My tattoo does not show in this picture. Nice one Sarge. |

Oh I do like that dress Chezzer! Very classy. Works ever so well with the bright pink hair, what a combo!
Those storms yesterday were mad! We had ours early in the day, around lunchtime. I know, 'cause I overslept after being up til silly o'clock the night before, and was woken by a shaking whimpering furball trying to crawl onto my face. Poor Pilau. It went on for about an hour and was really loud and rumbly, like horror movie thunder it was!

Is that the ocean in the background Sundae? Does it ever get warm enough to swim in the ocean over there? (I mean that in the nicest possible way).

Looks like rolling hills in the background to me. And it kind of depends what you mean by 'warm'. We grow up doing Summer seaside holidays...in which we splash about in cold water.

I think it must be the sea. I can clearly see a dolphin.

Dana nails it - that's Buckinghamshire rolling away in the background. We were at Ivinghoe Beacon.
Oh and that picture decided me not to wear that dress for anything special - I really liked the shape when I bought it, but it makes me look twice as large as I am. Luckily it was only £10 from Tesco, so it will do for walks and for the garden. |
