I successfully installed an electrical outlet without incident. (When we tore down wallpaper in the kitchen, we discovered they had papered over a junction box that we never even knew was there.)

After the shitty way the year started, I saw a double rainbow today.
Yeah, I know, the second one is partial, but it's there.

Will be entering the strange and happy world of dog ownership around lunchtime today. Only got 5 hours of sleep because I'm so excited/nervous.

He's single! YAY! A divorced dentist with his own practice. (kids all grown) Now - no anti-dentite jokes, please!

How about "probing your cavity" jokes, are they okay?

Bri, you know I can't resist:
Kramer: You're a rabid anti-dentite! Oh, it starts with a few jokes and some slurs. "Hey, denty!" Next thing you know you're saying they should have their own schools. Jerry: They do have their own schools!

being anti-dentata, on the other hand, is perfectly reasonable.

Oooh! That makes me happy - Bri's gettin' some!
Does he have a brother? Today I am happy planning my trip to Amsterdam in Sept. Of course this depends on how much tax refund I get, but it's the best chance I have for a holiday this year, so I'm going to plan the hell out of it and if it doesn't happen at least I'll have enjoyed that part. AND I'm going to see a screening of the first episode of Psychoville (Pemberton/ Shearsmith new project) on Weds 27 May at the BFI, with a panel dicsussion afterwards with Mr Shearsmiths himself. Wooop! Wooop! Ticket was £6.65 in case you were wondering. Instead of the £8.30 I was going to spend going to see Angels and Demons with the 'rents (their choice). Money much better spent methinks. Happy today.

Good luck Bri, and Choc! (Personally I'd rather get a dog than go on a date.)
Going to the Rockies game with a GREAT friend who I haven't seen since I moved to CO - her bro in law plays for the Rockies, so we're meeting at his house, his wife is driving, we get to park in player parking, use the player entrance, sit in the player's wives section. I feel like a celebrity!!!
