I had to loosen that mount, run the bike longer with it loose, and tighten it back down. There was a nasty vibration between 1100 and 1800 rpm.

Much better now

A break-in period for a motor mount...That's new.

600-800 miles they say.

I'll do half of that tomorrow. Rain or shine. Gonna go see my tech for a once over before the trip. Service brakes, new plugs, drink beers, talk shit.

So, there's this stray cat in my neighborhood. I've seen it around since I've lived here. I called it 'Bruiser' in my head, because it's a thick cat. I've seen it kill shit. It left me a wounded bird one night.

The other day, as my neighbor Michele and I were talking on my porch, it came right up and started acting like any house cat. Rubbing against her legs, scratching itself, flopping down and wanting scratchies etc...

Michele has cats, so she got into it. Looking at it for fleas, petting the purrs out of it. I always assumed it was male, but there are teats low down on the belly. Ok. She.

Then we realize that Bruiser has been de-clawed. I hate that shit.

Now I feel sorry for her. Abandoned, homeless and feminine. Bruiser is now Naomi.

I gave her half of my burger tonight, and she was very thankful. Got up on the table and forced me to pet her. Pushed my phone down and sent a couple texts to Amanda.

After 15 minutes of lovins...

I went inside and got my Pottery set. I don't know if she inhaled, but I gave her 4 really good clouds of a cannibonimbous nature to enjoy.

She's sleeping the happy sleep. Must be rough living out doors in the burbs. She wants to come inside, but I'm not trying to get fleas or whatever. I'm gonna be her fair weather friend for now.

That clip in her left ear may indicate that she is a feral who was fixed. I can't really see it clear enough to tell though. Many/most/some of the shelters do that so they can tell which have been neutered.
She looks sweet - like my old Harmony.

De-clawed = damn near defensless.

Get rid of the fleas. Dip her, buy a flea collar, Advantix on the neck, something.

Then let her come in.

Even after being stuck in traffic to start it.
