Sadly, as Atlas held up the sky and not the earth.... poor, poor lady. Inaccurate, large and no doubt expensive tattoo.

SG is correct. Atlas holds up the sky.
The usual sculpture shows Atlas holding up the celestial sphere. However, since the picture in 6781 does indeed show Atlas holding a heavenly sphere, I'd say it is accurately depicted.
