Aug 29, 2010: Our Overlords
They went from our property, to family members, to our overlords.
Whom? Cats and Dogs, that's whom! The equivalent of a 5 star hotel for cats in England, a water park for dogs in California. Recession? Ha, the kid may not get shoes, but the Overlords don't care. ![]() In England; Quote:

No point just being able to view the birds feeding out of windows. Have to be able to catch them and leave them on your owner's doorstep as a sign of gratitude for a luxurious day out.

It would be funny if you were able to buy rodent and bird "toys" for your cats as extras. After all, people who own reptiles buy them as food... why shouldn't the hotel owners provide them?

Bone china and porcelain water fountains?
![]() I'm sure it's very effective at extracting dollar bills from owners' wallets, but I think it would be very difficult to clean, especially between "guests". Most dogs would prefer the open fenced yards where they can play & run with other dogs, I think.

Thanks Bruce! One of my favourite cat moments was when the small lion I have that masquerades as domestic feline brought a mouse inside as a way of expressing express his gratitude and love to me-he probably knew I was about to head o/s again. He played with it for a bit and then when he got tired, he just put underneath his chest and contained it there for a bit until he was ready to play again.
