I miss slang!

With all the -er- colorful debates taking place on various threads regarding the state of the world, the state of our ability to "agree to disagree," the state of alternative fashions, whether Michael Jackson is really still black, and (gasp) the recent banning of Segways from San Francisco sidewalks, I find that I miss the sometimes goofy occasionally insane but always amusing participation of slang.

I know he's busy writing his book and all, but, c'mon, slang, how 'bout putting in a word or two for your adoring fans?

BTW, how come when slang went on sabbatical, so did God, Al Gore Smoking, Rush Limballs, Kofi Annan and Saddam Hussein? Mere coincidence? I think not! I think this matter should be investigated along with the other worthy conspiracy theories being discussed!
