Meet Thumbelina, the world's smallest horse

I saw this little horse on the Today show this morning. She is a dwarf miniture horse which is very rare. I guess she rules the homestead where she lives and bosses the stallions and other bigger horses around.

Oh, talking of IoTD and news programmes being behind:

There was a feature over the weekend on one of our terrestrial news programmes about the Time.com series of photographs of the grieving widow meeting her husband's body on its return from Iraq. IoTD 15/12/2005.

Her grief is less raw but it still had impact especially because of footage of her son, growing up without his father.

Sorry - might be a British term. We use terrestrial to distinguish the 5 channels everyone gets, as opposed to digital or cable channels (which you choose to get).

This was on the 30 minute news on ITV from what I remember.

Sometimes I do get intergalactic news, but I can't talk about that on Tuesdays

They are so sweet.

A friend of me has a stable with all kind of mini horses, such as Falabella, American Mini Horse.
