Tom Leykis
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!
The good news? My complete superiority to the majority of cellphone wielding long time listener first time caller radio bulletheads has been confirmed, including, no, especially including their collective partner in radio conversation, BlowMeUpTom. ![]() The bad news? After confirming the good news listed above, I continued to listen for another 59 minutes. ![]() ![]()

I heard an interesting call once to the Tom Leykis show, which we got for awhile before the short-lived FM talk station died out and switched back to a hip-hop format...
Apparently many years ago he had a completely different type of show, and was a very serious, very intelligent, conservative political commentator. But that just wasn't attracting the listeners, so he finally had to switch gears and create the character he plays today on his show. The caller was basically a long-time fan of the old Tom, and was asking why he had sold out so horrifically. He basically said something to the effect of "Look man, bills are bills, you do what you have to do. Now quit ruining my show," and blew him up. |
