Time Zone

Does anyone live close to the border of any time zones? I'm thinking it has to make day to day activities difficult.

I had some relatives who once owned a property which was half in one time zone and half in another although it was only for six months of the year because it was on the border of two states. One which followed daylight savings and one which didn't.

when they arranged to do things with the neighbours etc, they always had to check if it was Qld or NSW time.
