One thing I do wonder ... when did "Luby's Cafeteria"become "a local restaurant?" Was some kind of deal struck to protect the marketability of the chain?

They couldn't bear to look in her eyes. It was like their decision was already made and they all knew she was right. Her last comment regarding the reasons for the 2nd amendment is very telling. Thanks Bruce - I'm glad you ended up posting it.

Yes, you may expect to see the Brady Bill pt III soon, to include expanded bans on guns, ammunition and accessories. Legislation to restrict the carry of firearms (if not outright ban it) will be introduced separately.

Perhaps the next President can reverse the laws by Executive order. It looks to me like President Obama will govern mostly by Executive Order. If you thought individual rights suffered under the Bush administration, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

The anti-gun left could care less about her personal story. Their opinion is "Well...if we would ban ALL guns, this kind of thing wouldn't happen to begin with. That way, you wouldn't need a gun to protect yourself." Chucky boy Schumer had the arrogant "when is she going to be done talking" look on his face.
