Spider Bite

Or something else has bitten my left foot. Past 2 weeks I've been putting Mupirocin on sore, still not well. Thinking about putting some silver nitrate on, but would need a couple of really good running backs to catch me after

After two weeks, you would have far worse necrosis if it were a dangerous spider like a brown recluse or black widow. It looks like whatever the biter was, it isn't dangerous. There is no sign of tissue death or infection. You will probably eventually fight off the venom but it will take time.

If you see redness or swelling, or any pustule forming, see a doctor asap.

Oh, and have something done about that fungal infection! Yikes!

Yeah, I was going to say it might not even be a spider bite, it might be a spread of the fungal infection from the toes. You'll need to coat those suckers with Tinactin every day for quite awhile to get that under control. A doc could give you something stronger, but given the kind of luck you've had with physicians, maybe it's better to just stick with the over-the-counter anti-fungals...

Yeah, I was reading something recently that most "spider bites" are a misdiagnosis. Spiders just don't bite people very often. They avoid people. It's usually a bacterial or fungal infection.

A search turned this up.

The yellow is from the use of tea tree oil, I think + hope.
