The Simpsons Movie

Well, it looks like they're making a Simpsons movie. Hmm. It makes me wonder what Simpsons plotline could possibly require movie length to convey... lately it seems as though the writers have to wring their brains to get enough value to fill the 23 minutes they get between commercial breaks. Can a Simpsons movie possibly be a good thing? Or is it merely the product of some greedy bastard realizing how forehead-slappingly obvioius a Simpsons movie is to rake in a few extra bucks before the franchise perishes?

I enjoy the show, but I think making a good Simpsons movie would be nigh-impossible, given the show's flavor.

Not so. With so many fully rounded out characters to drawn from, they could make a long movie with no problem.

Well it was either a Simpsons movie or Beavis and Butthead do America II.

Looks like Gigli will have some company in the bottom left of the worst shelf in Blockbuster.
