Topmost on an 'Axis of Evil' List
At Least 7 Nations Tied To Pakistani Nuclear Ring
Only a complete fool as world leader did not know this was going on for 5 years. Intelligence community knew (in intelligence, without a smoking gun, it is called suspected) of these business deals for about 2 or 3 years. But Pakistan was not on the 'axis of evil' list; a list based upon a political agenda and not upon world knowledge. For those unfamiliar with the story, a US ally for a mythical 'war on terrorism' all but openly was encouraged to spread nuclear weapons throughout the world in exchange for technology to create more WMD. Years ago, even India boarded a ship in the Indian Ocean and discovered this WMD trade. It was that well 'suspected'. Since Pakistan is essential to a George Jr personal agenda, then Pakistan could only do less harm than Iran, Iraq, or North Korea. Classic corrupt politics: first Pakistan's equivalent of Oppenheimer, Dr Khan, confesses to selling nuclear technology. The fall guy no different than seven Watergate burglars. Then the Pakistan president (someone essential to the George Jr political agenda) pardons this scientist (just an Nixon intended to do with the Watergate burglars). Did Pakistan send C-130s to North Korean for missiles without top government knowledge? Only the niave also did not see a relationship between seven Watergate burglars and the White House. It's one of the most pathetic coverups ever attempted. Notice the obvious silence from George Jr. This most flagrant example of "promoting terrorism" should have put Pakistan at the top of George Jr's 'axis of evil' list; that is if the list was created by an honest president. But that list was not based upon facts. Pakistan 'not on that list' demonstrates either the honesty or intelligence from which a George Jr's list is based. Since Pakistan is not top of the George Jr 'axis of evil' list, then George Jr has another credibility problem - to those who decide based upon facts. An 'axis of evil' list created with same credibility as Nixon's 'Enemies List'. But then lies are SOP for both administrations. An honest George Jr would have loudly complained about the so obvious and blatant coverup in Pakistan. An honest George Jr would have, at minimum, complained about the world's largest trader in WMD. A lying George Jr with an upcoming election and a personal political agenda (America be damned) cannot be so honest. Last edited by tw; 02-08-2004 at 12:46 PM. |
