Kobayashi wins it again! 53.5 hotdogs. For anyone's who watched it was, uh, quite the experience.

Just some simple math for those wondering...

Nathan's Hotdog Nutrional Infomation (PDF)

That is would be 8.3 days worth of calories. (based on 2000/day)
Nearly 11 days worth of fat. (based on 100g/day)
...and more than 6 days worth of cholesterol. (based on 300mg/day)
(tried to pull most of the info from AHA, but some of it was difficult to find)

And all of that was consumed in 12 minutes.
Hell, I'd puke after five.

Man, that Sonya Thomas is really something, too. I am always amazed at the hot dog eating contests, because I think hot dogs are repulsive and can't eat one bite without barfing. Every bite is shocking to me.
