I believe that tw posts here only to share knowledge, no feelings, emotions, thoughts, hopes or dreams - perhaps he has none - I do not know. I post here to open myself up to a most diverse group of individuals whom normally I would not have an opportunity to interact with IRL. I disagree with many, agree with more and I am constantly learning from their differing thoughts, opinions and perspectives - all based on their life experiences. THAT to me is what makes the cellar so valuable.

I too am tired of this tw as I have told you before. tw is obviously well read and educated. tw has a broad range of knowledge. Perhaps the fact that my knowledge lies in areas specifically counter to his is a problem for him, I do not know.

For tw's information, I would like to tell tw a little about me – perhaps tw could do the same – tw’s choice. I too am well educated. I have two degrees, one in Business and another in Human Resources. I have lived through many joys and sorrows and hope to experience many more. I am a father of three wonderful children, a daughter and two sons. I am the son of the two best parents I could ever hope for. I have family and friends whom I adore and who love me for who I am.

None of this makes my opinion any more or less valuable than tw's, nor do I feel as though I need to justify myself to tw. Initially I was intimidated by his technical writing style. I am more confident now than ever that his opinion is no better nor worse than mine - I am not inferior and will not be treated as such, nor should he. The apparent arrogance, the better, smarter, know-it all-style which he utilizes is perceived as an insult not only by me, but others as well. Intended or not – that is the perception of many readers. (Please take note of that) Am I emotional - absolutely. I know my emotions can get the best of me and I am working on that aspect of "me." That is without a doubt my biggest flaw and in some ways my greatest asset. So be it. They are part of what defines me and who I am.

I would like to end this right here and now - if tw is willing, just say so - if not -we can continue - tw's choice. The settling of our differences in some small way could be perceived as an example of how others could do the same. I am putting the olive branch out to tw - what tw does with it is up to tw. Let me know.

I know we can. I know that conflict is inevitable, but it needn't be permanent, not in Iraq, not in my marriage, not on the cellar. There is peace to be had, if we would only give it to each other. Peace, like the right of way, cannot be seized, it can only be yielded. Like forgiveness, it can only be granted, not ordered. Like love, it can only be given, not taken.

And peace, like forgiveness and love, the more that is given away, the more one has.

Yesman, you seem like a perfectly nice person. If tw responds to this, great. But I think you might be taking this a little too personally. He is who he is here on Cellar. While he has capacity for change (as we all do), I don't see it happening any time soon. Just know that so long as you remain a respectful and decent person, your thoughts and opinions will generally be taken seriously by the other regulars. You have a good signal-to-noise ratio.

Syc's right Yesman. tw is just tw. Best not to dwell overmuch if y'ask me. you know you get reasonable responses most of the time from most of the dwellars, so you must be doing something right :P

It's the Cellar. People will be themselves at the end of the day despite all the preaching, soapboxes and whatnot. Shouldn't get too hyped up about someone who probably cares as much about you as you do for him. But whatever, stuff happens. Nice idea, but it's really more applicable to real life scenarios.

I take my shots and get my lumps just like anybody else here, I do not want to be treated any different than anybody else. I have realized that TW is a man just like me, he puts his pants on one leg at a time, he shaves just like me, and he shits not like me, but out his mouth.

Undertoad has done a great job of creating and maintaining a wonderful place where we can all exchange ideas, and and converse with people we may never get to meet IRL. Thank you very much UT.

This was intended for tw only and I wasn't sure how to make that happen - I guess I should have pm'd him. If I didn't act the way I did, Fresh, I wouldn't be who I am whether it be in the cellar or IRL - I'm not here to act as an alter ego. I said why I am here. Why others are here is up to them. fargon that is something I feel that I violated and I appreciate what he has done a great deal. I just don't want to be the one ruin it. Nuff said - movin on.
