Avenue Q
We're planning the Vegas trip and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Avenue Q will be playing out there.
I heard about it on NPR. It's a grown-up version of Sesame Street, with puppets singing about racism, porn, coming out as gay, and other topics. From the clips on the site it looks interesting. Has anyone seen it? Opinions?

I haven't seen it.
I did, however, buy the CD after hearing a couple numbers from it on XM. And I think the songs are fucking hilarious. In particular: You'll never hear the word "schadenfreude" the same way again. If you had any doubt what the true purpose of the Internet was, you'll find out. And I almost drove off the street when I heard the entrance of the superintendent. |

Richlevy, I saw it last year and it was excellent! One of the best shows I've seen. Very adult 'puppet show' and most clever and creative.
Plus it's great to check out the Wynn Hotel. Newest one on the strip. 'Course I know Vegas pretty well. Got married there five years ago!! |
