8/19: Deer on ice
 In the middle of summer (in the N. hemisphere), what do you need but a reminder of what will be 6 months from now? This poor mule deer was chased onto the ice by a pack of coyotes. She was out there for eight hours until she was finally rescued by a wildlife official. |

If not for the deer crap strewn about in every direction, and the context of the image, I think it would be pretty cute.... in a sort of disney/bambi adorable fawn sort of way......
