From the Austrian Times comes the story of Dan Nowak entering a fishing contest at, "a power station reservoir in Rybnik, Poland".
The punchline is. "he hooked a monster 49-inch Piranha". Say what? Piranha? Poland? WTF?

Now looking at the photo, either Dan is one badass mo-fo, or that fish ain't even close to 49 inches. Maybe 18 or 20, tops.

Nowak, 28, claims he hooked the normally tropical brute in a stretch of warm water heated by a power station...

That would explain the warm water fish's survival, plus warm water would provide more food, which could explain the size... sort of... maybe... I guess.


But the really strange part, nobody would believe it's a Piranha, because of it's teeth.



It looks like it ate a human, and swallowed everything but the dentures.

But experts are wondering if Nowak's fishy tale is really the whole tooth.
"There's something distinctly strange about the piranha's teeth and it's a huge fish - twice what you would expect," said one.
But officials at Bukow Mini-Zoo - where the fish is now on show - confirmed: "It was probably dumped by an owner who didn't realise how large it would get."

They didn't mention if it was a Nuclear plant or not.
