Major league baseball predictions

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aaalexrodriguez.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

NY Yankees Slugger 3rd baseman Alex Rodriguez is the key to the Yankees scoring this year. They may not have started the season so well, but i predict that they're the heavy favorites for winning the world series this season.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aarandyjohnson.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

Yankees Pitcher Randy johnson is arguably the best starter in the game.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/AAposadarivera.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

Mariano Rivera without a doubt is the greatest replacement pitchers in the game, here he's shaking hands with Catcher Posada which has had a few home-runs already this season.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aadelgadomets.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

The New York Mets would have to be my 2nd pick for this year.
Another NY-NY world series? The Mets are a great all round team.
Pitching more than anything, That's Delgado up there in the pic.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aaguerrero.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

Now that's the Anaheim Angles Right fielder/Slugger Vladimir Guerrero.
The Angels are my 3rd pick.
Figgins, Cabrera and Guerrero start the lineup, i bet ya they'll score more than any other begining linup this season. I hope to see the pitchers start picking up, as they haven't had the best of starts.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aapujols.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

Now what can you say about Albert Pujols?
The man gets a homer whenever he wants. Cardinals looking super this year, and how can i not chose them to almost go all the way.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aachriscarpenter.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

Great pitching as well...there's Chris Carpenter, more than worth the mention.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aalanceberkman.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

Houston's Lance Berkman is a phenomena. Can't say much about the team though.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aabradpenny.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

LA Dodgers Brad Penny is turning out to be one of the absolute greatest pitchers in the game. The Dodgers are super when it comes to pitching, but they simply cannot hit the ball.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/aabluejayswells.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

Toronto Blue jays purchased some great players this year, it'll take some time for the team to start rolling, but i think they'll have a good one, no chance at the pennant though, they should take 2nd.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a387/wiccan33/AACincinatii.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

On fire, the Cincinatti Reds batting is superb. A very exciting team to watch.
But hey! you got to get some pitchers if you wanna win games.

this is how i rank the teams this year, although it is very early:

1)NY Yankees
2)NY Mets
3)Anaheim Angels
4)St.Louis Cardinals
5)Chicago White Sox
6)Toronto Blue Jays
7)Oakland
8)Boston
9)Cincinatti Reds
10)LA Dodgers

Chicago Cubs, Texas, Houston, San Fransisco, Minnesota, Philadelphia follow.

I have a very accurate position. The Phillies will suck out of the gate.

My beloved Cubbies will show promise at one point, catch fire at another, and burn beyond recognition as the season draws to a close.

The Yankees are too old.

And I think you forgot about Atlanta.

I'm generally a fan of young players, and I'm certainly NOT a fan of the Yankees, but baseball is a lil different than other sports.. players just don't fade out like that.

And no, I did not forget Atlanta, I don't think they'll have a winning record this year... Sure Ryan Langerhans is shining, but truthfully? I don't think they'll even take second

I thought someone would jump out at me and say "What about Detroit?"
but, Seriously I think they'll fade out with time.

I kinda agree about the Phillies, although they may have a pretty good streak at some point this year.

There's a lot of talk about the Cubs this year, but I don't buy it.

If there's a huge mistake about what i've written, it's the Reds, cause they seriously have no pitching..but from what i've seen from their batting line up.
They will score heavily this year!

As a Yankee fan, I can honestly say without a big shakeup in pitching they are toast.

Cards over Angels in seven.

Mets get into playoffs, but probably not the WS. They look good now, but they're in the NL East. It's easy to look good there.

Yeah, the Mets have won the pennant already, no competition.

Keep an eye on the Cubs-Dodgers matchup tonight, The Cubs batting isn't gonna look so good facing B.Penny.
Another for you gamblers out there. Dosen't pay much, but St.Louis will beat Pitchberg no matter how their batters do... Carpenter's at the mound.

Carpenter so far retired 6 out of 6, 3 with strike out.
He's a hard pitcher to face, his unique style dosen't allow you to see whats coming.

I would watch Cleveland very carefully. Detroit is hot too but I'm not sure that will last.

Does anyone think my Barry Bonds rookie card will be valuable?

LOL. Considering what he looked like pre-roids I'd say it's a pretty truthful card.
