An Inconvenient Truth

It cracks me up how everyone is worried about the next ice age but could care less about what we are doing to our potable water.
We deserve to be extinct.

We can make potable water with existing technology. Stopping an "Ice Age" is another matter.

That's because it isn't a problem for most people in this country.

Most people still can and therefore get water equal to or sometimes superior to the bottled stuff. Unfortunately, if only 1% of this nations water is bad, then we have a sereve, major disaster.

Remember, NYC does not even chlorinate its water because the water is that good right from the tap. Would you know that if listening to the local gossip, reading the Daily News, or it your information source is TV commerical like Listerine? I am amazed at some towns where the water is bottled - from the same tap water that nearby residents will not drink.

Not just what is in the water but how much of it there is and how many of us there are. Been to Utah lately, Colorado?
Also, the world is not just the US and UK.

Like I said, the technology exists......it's just expensive. My water was safe to drink but it was messy and ate the plumbing.
