I suppose in the minds of these people they just want to stop women from choosing their own fate and that's why they've never thought about what should happen if they do have illegal abortions.
Maybe they really are loving people who don't want to judge. Maybe they're just thoughtless and don't see anything much past the end of their own nose.

The one committing the crime, were abortion illegal, is the one (doctor, nurse, or technician) doing the procedure. The woman in the question becomes analogous to that of a drug user or a prostitute's john, the user rather than vendor of the illegal services. Whether a penalty should be established would be determined by the courts. As I recall, there was no penalty to the woman (other than social scandal if it became known that she had aborted a child) pre-Roe.

Hiring someone to commit a crime is a crime. If there were no penalty for the woman pre-Roe, then that's evidence that even then they knew that abortion wasn't murder.

Maybe I'm on the same level but oposite these people, but I don't view abortion as a crime therefor, I believe it's a womans right to choose her own fate/future. I don't think the bunch of cells has any bearing on anything full stop. So it's not murder. It's like having a cancer cut out. It's for the good of her health.
So of course, anyone doing the procedure is simply performing a service. nothing more nothing less. It's hard to really form any other argument. These people are simply standing by their convictions however misguided they are. If a woman going to have an abortion feels that their argument has some merit, then perhaps abortion is not really for her. What I mean is that, if the anti abortion loby affects them, then perhaps they might believe that they really do have a viable life form inside themselves and should consider their options more fully. No one should go ahead and have an abortion (or any other medical procedure) unless they're fully cognizant of the facts and believe it is their best and only option.
