Virtual Quilt

Inspired by Monster's Cellar Quilt idea, I suggest that we also do a virtual quilt.

Contributors produce a standard sized digital image, maybe using MS paint or some similar standard format. Say, 400x400 pixels or something.
It could be fun to make quasi-heraldric references to your user title: Undertoad could have a giant toad of course, Sundae Girl could have a cherry, etc.
The could be based on photos or purely virtual.

There are lots of technical details to determine: size, shape, format, borders, whether any themes are appropriate, etc etc. We can argue about these.

Any thoughts?

And you could have a big crow, while I enjoy another bent banana. Ducks can have a sombrero or something to signify her mexican status.

Are you going to do the putting together etc?

Straight for the hard question, Eh, mate?
I guess I could, not that I've ever done such a thing before. I should have spare time in January which would give folks plenty of time to come up with their squares.

Sounds fun. I could get much more elaborate on a virtual block ...

Oh crud. Here I go having ideas ... consider the possibilities of getting the virtual blocks printed on fabric squares and make them into the quilt?

Get the whole thing done as a single image, then get them made up as t-shirts on cafepress. Or coffeemugs, etc.
