In a nutshell, the book is the latest example of the Left's madness gone florid.
It popped up on the Glenn Beck Show on Fox this afternoon. Seems a gaggle of French grad students in the twentysomething-to-thirtysomething age range think it would be a good idea to reenact some of the more regrettable excrescences of the twentieth century early in the twenty-first. The excerpts, pretty widely spread over the 'net, read like something out of the Symbionese Liberation Army, though more French/Euro and a bit less tendentious. But they've lost nothing in sheer idiocy. They embrace anarchy with the enthusiasm of those who have never lived it. They despise money with the ferocity of those who've never enjoyed it. They have no idea that if their ideas were implemented, mass starvation would be the consequence within ninety days as stocks ran out. Then the little creeps would get their comeuppance as they would be slain, slaughtered, roasted and eaten, perhaps with the last remnants of kitchen cupboard seasonings, by the starved "beneficiaries" of their remaking of the world. Examples on the 'net are -- too numerous to. Google the title and enjoy.
