Propriety, Netiquette and Self Deception

In the real world it's easy to step on peoples toes and not be proper. In the computer world it's becoming almost normal to step on peoples toes on purpose. I think that if more people were prone to learn the way the internet works before they actually dove in then the net would be a better place. There is something about hiding behind the wall of a computer that brings out the worst in us, but at the same time there is something about pc's that make us think we are smarter than we really are. Personally I think I have been deceiving myself more than anyone else. Why, because I want to be smart and on the cutting edge of technology, but really I am just a poor freak who just likes to pave my on way. There is no technology capital of the world because everyone dose it there own way. The closet I'll ever come to the "machine city" Is either IBM or Lu-cent technologies. I dunno,

How has computers effected YOU. Do they make your life easier or are they just something you do for fun??
