Happy Oh Shit there's a Tax Return Due Today Day

I just checked on the offchance, I thought it was due at the end of the month...... nope, the 15th. grrr. now i have to do it before I can go figure skating because after that I'm out all day. Or cancel walk/lunch with my friend who I haven't seen for a while. Good job I didn't rush off to swim without checking.

my instructions lied. I found the form and it is the 28th. Might as well do it now, but where in the heck did I put the W2s I printed?

You can do my taxes for me. I don't normally itemize, but I bet you could find some loopholes like expenses for dead hobo storage. Those dead hobos don't store themselves, you know. I should get a break, I'm performing a public service.

These are stupid tax forms. We (small non-profit community pool) withhold state tax from employees. We have to file and pay it quarterly. And also report it annualy -reporting that nothing is owed because it was already filed and paid. Those people in Lansing love their paperwork. I found the W2s.

I thought I might be due a tax refund this year because I was taxed when I worked at Boots.
However now I work 25 hours a week at school instead of 20, looks like I'll be tipped over into taxable pay.
Ridiculous tax threshold, when I do not earn enough to live on my own and can only do this job thanks to my parents' forebearance.

Tax returns were one of the biggest culture shocks moving to America. Now I do about 30 a year for various non-profits (most are easy and Quickbooks does the majority of the work) and our own two family ones (State and federal) -we do these by hand They are a pain in the ass! Yes we pay much less tax than we did in Britain, but occasionally I'm not entirely sure it's worth it.....

the only time I ever filled in a form for UK taxes was when we moved heremid tax-year.
