sometimes, you just have to share your pain.

so, today was my grandmother's 65th birthday clamboil. i was so excited that i found someone to pick up my shift. i brought my new blender over her house- i'm so proud of it- it has a raised blade with serrated edges that crushes ice beautifully and makes thick, perfect frozen drinks. i brought over some frozen watermelon and pineapple, banana and blueberry juice from the health food store, and tropical fruit juice mix - all frozen into ice cubes, and ofcourse, a large quantity of rum.
so anyways, i ate about 2 or 3 pounds of clams and 6 baked potatoes- i weigh 120 lbs, and i counted the potatoes- i'm not exaggerating! i drank a cup of coffee and proceeded to get loopy with frozen fruit and rum drinks. my mother and my uncle were huge fans, too. they kept asking for more. we finished off the rum, used all the fruit i brougt, then used up all the strawberries and blueberries that were for the shortcake- hey, frozen drinks are more important. so, after 4 of those strong drinks, i started telling my whole family about how i wrote on the toilet seat "put the fucking seat down" and how arsen wrote "i just did!!!" on the top of the toilet seat, and arsen decided that i'd had enough and he took me home...ofcourse, i had to bring leftovers, so i sat down and ate another plateful of clams, drank about 8 oz of broth and then had 3 potatoes with butter and passed out.
here it is, 3 hours later and GOD my stomach is uncomfortable. i'm so bloated and thirsty. i wanted to save another person from having to deal with this- hey guys, don't mix huge amounts of clams, potatoes and butter with coffee, cream, fruits, sugar and rum- baaad idea.
