Secretary General Clinton

Will Bill Clinton be the next UN Secretary General?

I think it would be interesting just to watch certain right-wingers combust I know a few who might begin foaming at the mouth hearing the news.

Just like some folks need to get the fuck over Florida already, there are other folks that need to get the fuck over Clinton--both of them.

While I personally think Clinton as the Secretary-General is a great idea, I don't think an American will hold the post any time soon--the Russians or Chinese would cry foul in a heartbeat.

I became faint, nauseous, and nearly had too call off work.

Well, it didn't take too long for a response, by none other than Jesse Helms , that paragon of the right. Not only is the man a white knight, he has the robes to prove it.

Quote:
The Jesse Helms Center in Wingate, 30 miles southeast of Charlotte, has a lecture series that has attracted speakers such as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Its Web site describes it as a "nonpartisan organization" that promotes the principles espoused by Helms.
I think pissing off someone like Jesse Helms might just be the motivation to give Clinton the position.

I noticed that the original article from PittsburghLive.com is two years old.
