I had a shitty day yesterday!!!!!!

Lets just say that i ended up curled up in the fetal possition on the couch after it was all over .
To start the day off I had to leave the house at 6:am to be in the shop in Memphis at 8:00am , there was a nasty wreck on the way blocking one of the bridges accross the Mississippi river so traffic was piled up crossing the one lane( got to love construction ) open on the other bridge , my boss started calling at about 8:05 asking me where i was at , i told him about the wreck , he called back at 8:15 , and every 10 minets untill i got into the shop , at 9:00am , i arrived and walked in to his office describeing all this to him on my cell phone . i was supposed to pick up one of our big trucks and go check truck scales . I noticed one of the tires was low and found a bolt in the tire , i told my boss about it, " aww it'll be ok just go " , so a short disscuccion insued about truck maint and seeing as i will be passing over 2-3 state lines the tire needs to be fixed , so i went to get the tire fixed , 3 hours later I finaly get on the road , and get stoped at the first state scale i cross , a side marker lite wasn't working , the DOT cop said "fix it " i said " thank you for not giveing me a ticket , and i will fix it " . Our big truck has a rather large box on its rear and i found my self hanging over the side fixing this fucking stupid little lite . Ok lite is fixed and i'm on my way again . There is another wreck that delays me for another hour , oh well " say larve " , so i notice that the truck is low on fuel so i stop at a truck stop to fuel up . I pull up to the pump , give the attendent all my info , put the fule nozel in the tank and start it going , then i turn around and start to reach for the window squege thingee , the FUCKING fuel nozel pops out of the tank and TOTALY hoses my down from head to toe in diesel fuel befor i can get it stoped ,and i meen TOTALY this nasty shit is dripping down the crack of my ass thru my clothes !!!!!!
I calmly cleaned my self off as much as i could , finished fueling up the truck , paid , and called my boss telling him i was going home befor i got killed . He wanted to argue about it , i didn't , he could hear it in my voice .
It took me 3 showers and half a jug of simple green to get cleaned up , i used the other half on my clothes , then showered again , and curled up on the couch .
That folks was my Vday

I would think being doused in gasoline is a very unsafe way to drive... Was there at least a hose at the station?

Bummer Zip. This will make you feel better
Guy at work has his VW towed into the dealer because it won't run.
Dealer says 3 days and $2500 because the catalytic converter melted shut and took out some engine sensors too.
But they are a Hertz agent so they rent him a brand new red mustang GT.
He went to his bro-in-law's to see the guy’s brand new van.
Backing out the driveway he creamed them both.
See, things could be worse.

Late getting to this thread but was thinking that your boss is the one who needs a deisel shower. yuck. Its not just getting the stuff off your clothes and skin, its getting the smell out of your nostrils. I can still smell some of the crap I used to work in and that was decades ago.
