Cellar Status

The Cellar seems pretty peaceful lately. Not many uproars, not many hugely responded threads. But then again I am fairly inactive but I have seen nothing that will . The splashes weeks and months ago seem to have rippled out and it seems calmer and more content.

What do you think of the current Cellar Status? You n00bs and old timers alike.

Ebbs and tides.

It has been a bit dry around here lately, though. Sometimes I'll see
10+ people signed in and no one is posting a word. Maybe I'm on reverse ignore, where I can't see their posts?

And what's up with all the people using stealth mode these days? Ten members logged on but only 5 are visible? And LJ, you of all people, who gets spooked by the lurkers, you use stealth mode?

lol...I just realized I was in stealth. I rarely do that, I had just been popping in and out all day and decided to lurk awhile.

Lurk levels:

1) Not registered. Just reads other's posts.
2) Registered, not logged in. Just reading other's posts
3) Registered, logged in, but in "invisible" mode
4) Registered, logged in, not invisible, but just sits there like a lump

I can't think of a 5.

5) Install a keystroke logger on Shawnee123's computer so you can lurk not only her Cellar posts, but also everything else she's doing.

How about, "logged in under an alias"? I think some regular posters have alternate identities.

Ahhh yes, that's true. I always thought I would get into trouble doing that. But, I am who I am and it would be pretty transparent if I was sneaking around as Shiny123 or something. But I love to look for other people's "sock puppets" (as I've heard LJ call them.) It's fun!
