Adweek's Campaign To Re-Brand Islam
Adweek magazine invited 30 ad agencies to submit campaign concepts to tackle the problem of intolerance toward Islam and help resolve the issue of the mosque at Ground Zero.
Only 5 responded. Yeesh, most of them were really awful. It's funny how awful they were, and you kinda wonder--why is it such a difficult thing to do? ![]() For example: ![]() More here: http://bit.ly/dyX8ge |

Because that problem cannot be solved with tame soundbytes. Only reason that a Manhattan mosque became an issue are so many Americans so easily told by their political handlers who to hate. Who are so easily manipulated as to hate – to even deny that is what they are doing.
Religion is a relationship between one and his god. If it becomes reason for hate or secular conclusions, one must start with the only problem. Their need to impose their religous beliefs on others. Their perverted religious beliefs combined with an inability to think logically. Anyone opposed to a Manhattan mosque should know they are the problem. Only peer pressure is strong enough. So how many here posted challenges to the many who have hate of Islam? Not even a majority. How to you get an extremist to see his hate in a soundbyte? You don't. Only peer pressure and mockery can expose and undermine hate behind so much wacko extremism - ie of a Manhattan mosque. The mosque did so much more to expose the hate that drives extremists. White flour! It will not eliminate wacko extremism. But the mockery does identify silly, pathetic, and hateful anti-American, anti-social, and anti-humanity people. If not that insulting, then the problem is not addressed. A Manhattan mosque demonstrated how many even in The Cellar are so driven by hate of a religion due to Beck and Limbaugh style soundbytes. They are told what a conservative must think – then hate as their political handlers order them. No soundbyte in an advertisement can solve that without calling him what he really is – an extremist easily brainwashed with hate. |

I think it really comes down to this: 85% of all problems are directly traceable to top management.

That, and 85% of tw's thinking is about how everyone but him is enmeshed in a great conspiracy to manipulate and be manipulated.
I hadn't considered that tw was a frustrated romantic. That being what conspiracy theorists are.
