Can you blow bubbles with gum?
I just learned this week. With regular gum, not bubble gum -which my daughter assures me is more difficult. Nothing basketball sized, but a few golfballs. I gave up shortly after trying as a teen, and assumed I'd never be able to.
Can you get bubblegum in flavors other than "bubblegum"? I only like peppermint flavor these days. I used to like Juicy-Fruit. Also I prefer the "tablet" style with a crunchy shell. Those brwnish sticks are so much less appetising and don't have the same "bite" My kids assure me apple/pineapple layers is THE best, but I'm not ready to take out another mortgage yet.....

Yeah, I've been pulling gum out of my eyebrows since I was about 7.
The best bubble blowing gum here is hubba bubba imo. I'm not really into it these days though. I rarely chew gum at all.

I'm a bubble gum re-enactor. I like the old time bubble gum: Double Bubble, Bubble Yum, Big Giant Softballs Out of a Gumball Dispenser. Sometimes they're basketballs.
And just bubble gum flavor. There are a thousand bubble gum flavors these days. I just want the one called...what is it called? I can blow a bubble within a bubble. With the right gum. Juicy Fruit, while my favorite chewing gum, does not produce bubbles. |

I can get tiny little bubbles from chewing gum, pea sized, but not like bubble gum.
Being a kid had its moments.

Bubble gum is for bubbles, chewing gum is for chewing. there's a difference in consistency. My childhood favorite bubble gums were Bazooka and Double Bubble. Bubble Yum and Bubblelicious are easiest, and do come in wacky fruity flavors, or did, anyway. Blow Pops are pretty good for bubbles, too.
Anybody remember Razzles? first they're a candy, then they're a gum? Lousy bubbles, but fun to chew. The sticks of bubblegum flavored cardboard that used to come in baseball cards are really tough to get a bubble out of. Yes, I can get a bubble out of chewing gum, but you're right, it's not as easy. Bubble blowing is a basic American skill. We can all do it. Or we did, when I was growing up. These days I'm pretty much off gum since the conspiracy with the American Dental Association has made everybody switch from good, honest sugar to Nutrasweet, to which I have an allergy. I did score a pack of honest for-real Fruit Stripe gum a month or two ago.

Sheldon? Is that you? What have you done with Zen?
....... I wasn't allowed to chew gum as a kid. My kids weren't allowed to until they were old enough not to get it in anyone's hair. We're still kind of borderline on Thor on that one.....

You know, I reckon a nasty gum in the hair accident is part of being a kid. You're depriving your kids monster!

I'd like to think not, but unfortunately the facts suggest otherwise.
