We are having elections in the Philadelphia area (maybe the whole Commonwealth too...fuck, I don't know) today. It's the mayoral primary here in the city, along with the elections of judges to Common Pleas Court.

I only know one Common Pleas judge, and that's the guy that runs Eagles Court. I'm sure he'll get re-elected. As far as the mayoral primary, we already know who will run against who. Mayor John Street versus Sam Katz. I'll make sure to vote in November.

Not that it was a "major" election or anything ... It's the first one I've missed in years ... haven't missed an election in 15 years or so, but I do have a reasonably good excuse (commute too far) and I didn't have enough lead time to get an absentee ballot that wouldn't be counted anyway...
