Quick HTML question
How do you make an animated gif directly appear in an e-mail?
Is it the same for a jpeg? |

Just use the IMG tag like you would on a web page. IMG SRC="http://wherever/pciture.gif", with <> before and after of course.
Whether the recipient's email client will process it they way you want is a crapshoot. |

Most email programs include an "insert image" button.
Follow the prompts.

No luck. Tried the "img src" stuff, there's no "insert image" button, either.
I use comcast's web-based e-mail. Funny thing is, I receive e-mails from people with images displaying... |

Is there a setting to do plain text vs. html mail? If it's set for plain text it may not work no matter how many tags you put in.

The setting says "Display HTML in the body of email," and I do see pictures in incoming mail, just not in the ones I send to myself as a test.
