Some final contenders include The Great Wall of China, Stonehenge, The Incan city of Mach Picchu, The Taj Mahal, and the Sydney opera house. What else should make this list?

The Buddah's shot out of the Mountain by the Taliban. I don't see how the Sydney Opera House would qualify, that would open up a bunch of post modern structures like the arch in St. Louis or the Bridge in SF.

There used to be a division between Wonders of the Ancient World and Wonders of the World. Of course most of the Wonders of the Ancient World don't exist anymore; either make a sequel (WotAW Redux) or do a new Wonders of the Modern World. Sydney Opera House isn't exactly ancient.

Besides, how am I supposed to unlearn all I learned from my Talking ViewMaster?

personally i think the Large Hadron Collider wiki aka "The Black Hole Generator" should be considered once it goes online later this year. (If it dosen't destroy us all)
