I got that paint roller syringe thing and was pleased...

im seeing a razor sharpener now...wondering if it actually works.

i sold that Ab blaster gadget at a garage sale though....for a major loss

I bought a Super Slicer kitchen mandolin thing years ago. What a piece of total crap. Very dull blade. I'll never buy anything from TV again. At least it was only a $30 lesson.

razor sharpener, like for your face? Thats not something I would even consider. I mean somethings you can experiment with, but a dull razor isn't one of them.

I believe it was wolf who had good things to say about those space bags that you suck out with your vacuum cleaner in reverse. I believe they are available in stores now, as are oxyclean and rain-x. I believe if a product is any good it will be in stores where it will get repeat sales without being advertised.

Somebody gave me one of those flat/expanding whisk things - "It's a spatula! And a whisk! And tongs! Look it conforms to the shape of your food!" Well what a piece of crap. You *could* use it as the worst spatula ever, but you'd just use a spatula. You *could* use it as the worst tongs ever, but because they conform to the shape of your food, they obviously aren't very strong, and therefore can't pick up anything heavy. And as a whisk: completely useless.

We have one of those things, UT. The only thing it's good for is picking up things that must be picked up very, very gently. Pulling certain bread products up off the baking pan, for example. But yes, for the most part, completely useless.

Along those lines, my old credit card company used to offer me crap products in every single bill--"just send in this flyer and pay only $4.95 S&H for your complimentary gift item!" I succumbed to buying only one of them, a little socket wrench set. The case is so cheap it makes the whole thing look like a toy... but actually, it gets the job done, and amazingly it has survived semi-regular use even to this day.

I have been very tempted to buy a piece of exercise equipment called The Fluidity Bar advertised on tv. Essentially a portable barre for doing certain methods of strength training, like Callanetics or Lotte Berke method.

Haven't though. It's not cheap, and I get the job done with my present equipment. Still, it does look interesting . . .

bought a cold solder device as a gift, upon request. not sure how it panned out.

lots of QVC & other home shopping stuff, most of it decent, but I don't think that's exactly what you're talking about.

the ab thingy that's basically a wheel with handles on either side does work well. But you can do the same thing with an exercise ball, which is far more versatile.

I bought the OneTouch Can Opener about 6 months ago. It's great at opening my canned foods, but it only works a dozen or so times on batteries, and it's very difficult to open to replace them.
