Holiday Music

April Winchell has a ton of MP3 links to some of the horrendous (and funny) holiday music ever recorded.

Classics like;
I was Santa Claus at the School House for the PTA(Yogi Yorgesson)
or
Frosty the Snowman(Tuba Version)
and
Walkin' 'round in Women's Underwear(Bob Rivers)

There are dozens more at the link.

I was actually going to start a thread where people could record the date when they first heard this season's Christmas music.

For me it was while pumping gas on Nov 1st at a Wawa. They had speakers in the roof over the gas pumps and they were playing something almost hymnal, maybe "Silent Night" or "The Little Drummer Boy".

When I was growing up everyone waited until Thanksgiving before starting this. No wonder people are all 'holidayed out' by New Years.

Mine's a little less cheerful. First heard two weeks ago in the operating room of the vet's office. They were giving my 17 year old cat IV fluids due to his acute renal failure dehydration. He died two days later. Hooray for the holidays lol.
