It's baking hot here. Hotter than Spain.
Even the sun-loving 'rents are finding it scorchio.

It's 27.9 according to the thermometer in this room. Argh.

So I might go outside later, if just to get the boy outside with me.
Usually Mia is also out at this time, but she is in disgrace after pooing in their bedroom this morning.
Personally, I'd think it was a good reason for her to be out, but mine is not to reason why.

I have four more antibiotics tablets left, and still don't have my voice back.
Mum says "I'm not sure they'll want you back at school with that cough!" I say, "They don't have much choice." Fingers crossed for a magical turnabout over the weekend.

Oh, sorry, I came here to say goodbye to Pam.
Still, she's gone after all and won't read this.

OMG that's 82 degrees!

What's going on over there?

Bet pam doesn't really mean it. After all, she is continually tantalized into returning by people continuing to reply to her threads.

Perfect spring weather. The kind of days you think spring should be. Warmth of the sun on your back with a gentle cool breeze kissing your face.

26.9 now, but it's 17.20.
(Just over 80 at nearly half past five)
And I know me sitting here and being on the puter makes the temp rise. Seriously, I've watched it.

It's the hottest Easter on record here - I remember snow at Easter.
But of course it's also a late one this year.

It's truly exceptional weather, and the papers are full of it.
All the tabloids deny global warming as a conspiracy, but are all gleefully predicting Desert Britain! Hose Pipe Ban! Death and Destruction! and all the rest.

I've come in, factor 30 not having any effect on how hot I felt. Mum & Dad are still toasting themselves... They fly out to Benidorm (Spain) on 5 May. Mum still thinks she is "white as a sheet". I've fake-tanned my legs so I can wear skirts when I go back to school.

Another reason why I think I must be a changeling - my Mum has a dedicated latex glove to apply fake tan. She rarely if ever applies it. She passed it over to me today "It means you won't get it all over your hands." HOW organised?!?

And bless, she even bought the fake tan for me, after I brought it up in conversation the other day ("is it worth me buying...?") It fits in with her worrying about what other people think, but is also one of the hundred sweet things she does rather than actually saying she loves me.

I would like to say that I already miss Pam. I am now going to lock myself out of my room and never do the logging on this site as well. Pam, please send me a pm and tell me where you are bound, as I would like to come with you. I find myself very attracted to you, as you describe yourself, and would like to hold you and comfort you. NY is not so far from NJ, and I have lots of wine in my car just now. Please do not get mad at this, as I am not at all in jest.

Hornily yours,

Jim
