Seventies F. Patio door's open, sunny, a little breeze in the house. I'm right near the water -- at the other end of Oxnard CA it will be going on ten degrees warmer. Ojai, inland and surrounded by steep hills/baby mountains tends to actually be hot in these conditions.

It's about 15 celcius here. It really sucks. I'm cold and I have a cold.

A neighbor who lives up front where the sun shoots right at her apartment just walked by and said it's 110 degrees at her place.

Remarkably tolerable right now. 74F outside.
I've been seeing 104+ on my remote thernmometer thingy, so I assumed it was broken until I actually went out. It's raining, too. Lovely, lovely rain.

It is so cool out that the earlier rain is still visible on the grass, trees, street, and cars.
Everything glistens. It's so NICE.

Okay, okay.
More evidence that I am a moaner about the heat. Today at my desk it is 26 degrees (78). Much cooler than yesterday but still too damn hot for 10.30. And although it's raining, it's humid. I have sweat at my hairline, although a fan is blowing full blast behind me. Diz is warming my lap for me, which really doesn't help! Ali, I'd love to be at 15 degrees. That's strappy top weather for me! |

23 here today ( just now ) ... partly sunny... I think I'll have to go down to a little bar lakeside for lunch and watch tourists.
