Rather an unfortunate phrase...

Quote:
Mr Schou said the only reliable demand for sperm from redheaded donors from Ireland, where he said it sold “like hot cakes”.

both my progeny are, to one degree or another, ginger.

older boy is less ginger, younger boy is typical ginger with freckles and blue eyes.

wouldn't have it any other way.

eta: older boy's father had/has viking white hair. So blonde it's white.

younger boy's father had dark brown hair - no red.

Most of the red is from my side of the family.

I wouldn't worry too much. They can import red-headed sperm if they want. It can be transported by Swallows. African or European.

I heard the director interviewed on the radio and he said that the customers fall into three categories, hetero couple who cannot conceive and are looking for a donor that "looks like they look", lesbian couples, and single women. He said the latter two groups tend to ask for a specific "look" and that his organization's goal is to offer the greatest amount of choice for their customers. He further said that if he could give the customers more information about the physical characteristics of the donors, *including how they smell*, he would. The interviewer suggested that as a bit of a joke, but the director was earnest in his answer.

Auntie Scary and Uncle Elvis didn't name my new niece immediately she was born on Monday because she came out a redhead. They eventually gave her an Irish name. I have no idea what was planned originally. 's True, I swear.

That's a silly move--half the time the baby's hair falls out and grows back in a new color anyway. My daughter had dark, flame red hair at birth, now it's totally blonde.

My bro was born a redhead. Lasted just past his 1st birthday.
I went from white blonde to copper to auburn before my fifth birthday.

I'd love a little redheaded child. If I had to have one at all of course.

We have two true strawberry blondes in Reception this year.
That's quire rare. I already want to cuddle them, but I know not to judge children on their looks!
One of the girls last year is universally adored wherever she goes - tiny little moppet with ringlets.
Meh - such a dull child! I prefer the little tykes.

Mine finished up as mousy brown.
I've been colouring it since I was eleven!
