ummm. Not my favorite. I'd rather it was more interesting shape, say, for instance, a Klein bottle.

I'm still undecided about this thing. It's ugly as heck, but interesting. It's completely out of place there, yet it has attracted so much attention to the museum that nowadays is practically impossible to think about the Louvre without having mental images of this... thingy.

A brilliant and very successful campaign marketing, in any case.

Prague has a similar thing with a new wing or something at the National Theater. I'm torn by them. There's nothing wrong with new stuff, but sometimes it doesn't fit in so well next to the old.

Not necessarily agreeing with that.

Good architecture is just good, even if it is out of time. Otherwise we wouldn't progress.
I love the County Offices in Aylesbury. Not because they are good architecture (how on earth did Pooley get permission for that atrocity?!) but because I grew up with it. Maybe the locals thought the same about Stonehenge.
