What was the most recent movie(s) you watched via LOCAL streaming (a.k.a., your HDD)?

Gettin' tired of type of thread? Too bad! #GETOVERIT

Ok, let's go:

JJ Abrams' Star Trek trilogy
Man Of Steel

All very good re-imaginings.

Perish the thought. If you had put it in the Arts & Entertainment forum with all the others of this genre, it would have been just another ho-hum thread. By putting it here in Nothingland; however, it's become fabulous!

Nah, I streamed it off the PBS website. But I did it the same night it aired, so it was more like a recorded-off-live-TV program than a chosen-from-a-streaming-service program.

It's good. It's PBS-ish, meant for folks who don't know a lot about the show rather than folks who obsess over every lyric, but the overall narrative structure is very good. It flows.

Our men in black suits and sunglasses should be there any minute.

That'll be them in the black helicopter.
