I've seen people comment on their landmark posts in whatever topic they were posting in at the time. I thought if we are going to take the time to mention our landmark posts, maybe we should have asingle thread in which to do so.

this is it.

I bestow upon you all this thread as my vain way of drawing attention to myself and my 2000th post.

Well, my stats are:

Total Posts: 1,269 (0.85 posts per day).

Now, in my defense, I do work for a living and do not post from work, which reduces my available time. At the current rate, I will not reach post 2000 for 860 days.

Wow, this is a landmark week, apparently. This is post 1000 for me as well. And I honestly wouldn't have even noticed that I was at 999 if this thread hadn't been started... so thanks lookout, for reminding me to celebrate.
