Hematoma

My cat has a large hematoma from a cat bite or dog bite.

He dosn't have cancer. YAY

...the vet took a syringe and sucked out some of the blood! I was so thankful to see a simple liquid!

However,
I no longer have my other two troublesome pets. After I moved into this apartment I gave them to good homes. I dearly miss my aggressive pootch but he is with a family with a yard and I am sure he is happier about it too.

oh well so what. my cat might live a little longer apparently.

I just wanted someone to know since I missplaced my blues about it in another thread.

Where was kitty's hematoma?

My kitty Mister, had gotten two (at different times) on his ears. Poor baby. The first one crumpled his ear when it healed. The vet opened and drained it, but it still healed with funky ripples in it. The second one was just begining at the tip of the other ear and a younger cat wanted to play with him and ended up BITING OFF the tip of his ear!
I called them Tyson and Holyfield for a while.

His was in his side. I think when he attacked the little female she got a good bite in his underbelly.

So yours had them on the ears! ouch! That is the most common place I learned while googling such a thing. lol @ Tyson!

My Madison had a hematoma on his ear, too. It looked like a bubble, and now it is all wrinkly. That's OK, when we found him the very tip of his tail was bent. He's the most adorable mess I've ever seen. My ex has him, I miss him.

This could be in pet TMI but shortly after homegirl's dad passed away we got a call from our local catfood pusher, telling us that a local vet was going to whack a kitty who had been at the vet's for a year and noone wanted him. Would we take him?

Being in the weakened emotional state we were (we had taken care of dad during his last months of ALS, and he died at home) I said "sure" without hesitating.

We go to the vet to rescue the cat and there was this truly wretched looking thing. Emaciated. Would make Kate Moss look like Mama Cass. crazy matted long orange fur dreadlocks, and I looked at his hinder and said to customG: He's not fixed! The lab Tech over heard me and said, "He's fixed, he has a prolapsed anus from all the diarhea he's had."

Being me I was too much of a pussy to say "No fucking way am I taking that filthy inside skinside outside inside cat home with me.

Now, 6 years later he is fat, fluffy and his asshole is where it belongs.

And he is still a flea bag.
